James has been married for 25 years, and has two daughters and one son. James received his Master of Education in Counseling Degree from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas in 2004. James is licensed by the Tennessee State Board of Health as Licensed Psychotherapist. James attended Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Texas, where he studied Theology. James served as Evangelist for the Eleven Street Church of Christ in Beaumont Texas four years, then transitioned to Parkway Village Church of Christ where he served as the Evangelist for seven years. Currently James serves as the Evangelist for Airport Church of Christ where he has labored for the past six years. He is an author, entrepreneur, and served as an adjunct professor at Southwest Tennessee Community College. He has 20+ years of experience in counseling, beginning in 1991 as a License Substance Abuse Counselor in Texas. He has also served as clinical coordinator for a crisis psychiatric unit in Beaumont, Texas. James specializes in Theraplay, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy and Family System Theory. James has been in private practice as a psychotherapist (including family therapy, marriage therapy and individual therapy) for the 17+ years in Memphis Tennessee.
Youth bible classes are available for youth of all ages.
We provide meals and necessities for the homeless community in Orange Mound.
We hold a monthly clothes closet where items are free, new or gently-used items are provided to the community. The closet is held the first Saturday of the month from March-December.
Our sisters meet monthly in person on the first Sunday of each month at 9:00 am to fellowship and study God's Word.
Third Saturday of each month. This group supports individuals dealing in various stages of grief.
